Knowledge sharing on democracy

In a system of parliamentary democracy the people have the supreme power. No judiciary , no court or no Government is above people. If people do not exercise their authority to control the democratic system as and when required then no point in blaming the government or judiciary and courts. The principle behind democracy is  to protect the fundamental rights of even the weakest minority using the power of majority. If people are not vigilant and have no wisdom to elect their efficient representatives and administrators then criminals and baffoons will rule the country. Which we are seeing now in some states.
